A day at the beach
The beach is less than a 10-minute walk from the campsite. Here you can make the most of the sun, and enjoy the many restaurants and terraces on the pier. The beach is easily accessible by bike or on foot. There are paid parking spaces available.
National Park Zuid-Kennemerland
The campsite has a view over National Park Zuid-Kennemerland. With endless dunes and diverse flora and fauna, this park is an ideal spot to find peace and quiet. There are numerous walking routes with spectacular lookout points.
Access to the National Park is free. If you are visiting by car, you must pay a fee. The park is great for cycling and walking. You can also enjoy the lake in the dunes. The main entrance of the park is two kilometres from the campsite.
There are numerous cultural activities in the area. The centre of Haarlem, the capital of North-Holland, is at just 7km from the campsite. Here you will find many historical points of interest. You can visit museums or enjoy the many shops in the medieval streets of this charming provincial town.
A day in Zandvoort
Another popular seaside resort is Zandvoort, which is also at 7km from the campsite.
Nightlife and dining
Aside from the many daytime activities, there are also many options for eating out and enjoying the nightlife. The restaurants on the pier offer a great dining experience with beautiful sunsets. Alternatively, you will find many charming restaurants and terraces in Haarlem and Zandvoort.
Circuit Park Zandvoort
The area also offers fun activities for car enthusiasts during the summer months. Every week the Circuit Park in Zandvoort offers activities, including the DTM races, GT3 supercars and motor races.
